What We Believe Regarding Baptism: 

Baptism is essential for the Christian life, but it does not create that new life; Jesus does.   

“And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.” 
(I John 5:11) 

What Is Baptism? 

It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer's faith in Jesus Christ, our crucified, buried, and risen Savior. It is a public picture of the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ.  

Why Do We Baptize?  

It is a testimony to the world (and especially our friends and loved ones) that we have been forgiven, cleansed—made new!  

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)
